I picked this up at an estate sale yesterday. It’s such a cool mix of clean and streamlined, but also dimpled and irregular. There is absolutely no glaze crazing. But the foot looks aged. No marks, no signature. Is it vintage modern studio pottery? Or something older?

Cool vase. How tall is it? My guess is recent from somewhere in southeast Asia (Viet Nam?). I could very well be way off.

I think I'll stick to my initial thoughts; modern decorator vase from southeast Asia.

This is not a style I am used to which may mean it is actually Japanese.

Welcome to Antiquers! Are you a collector of Asian pottery and porcelain? The foot rim of this base doesn't make me think Japanese right off the top.
