Though at that time picture taking was serious business (important day in ones life and a long laborious task) resulting in very very few photos of smiling people. </p><p><br /></p><p>I looked at a few famous British women authors/poets finding none similar to this woman:</p><p>Doesn&#039;t look like any of the Bronte sisters accept a slight possibility of Charlotte.</p><p>Jane Austen, too early for this era photograph.</p><p>Doesn&#039;t look like George Eliot (Mary Evans).</p><p>Doesn&#039;t look like Jean Ingelow.</p><p>Can&#039;t find an early pic of Anna H.
