Featured Help with Rooster

    I’m unsure as to the purpose of this silver Rooster , I thought it was a salt cellar but it seems strange to have the slotted holes , it’s 12 cm high and from 1880 .     I would think maybe some sort of little utensils? Maybe little blades? What an awesome piece!

    pepper is thinner than sugar.....and the holes look in better shape...so why not..
