    hey guys

i swore id never buy another plate again, but couldnt resist buying this for a couple of quid

seems a bit sloppy, but hoping it might have a little bit of age to make up for it

    measures 9 1/2 " diameter

looks like some kinda messed up wolf

I always steer clear of plates, any pottery, glassware, etc. I am so clueless. Looks like it could be a dragon, Chesaroo.

Looks Spanish. But don't think necessarily old.

It looks like a simplistic or crude version of Italian Deruta.

The raised part in the middle makes me wonder if this was an under plate for something.

Was wondering why the middle part was raised, that would explain all the damage around Just that particular area

It is charming, and a dragon, so what's not to like.
It may not be top quality Deruta, but it does look Italian to me. It has age, and this is another case where we really miss Walter. We miss him anyway of course.

Thanks Aj, great info. I suppose even though it's only an under plate, still could be ok for a decorative item

Gonna be quite hard to pinpoint an age to it me thinks

    I agree.
Maybe someone will be along later who can tell you more about the age.
