These two pieces of turquoise glass turned up in a mixed auction lot this week.

They are a fine and heavy bowl measuring 20.5cm diameter and 8cm deep and a tumbler or small hand blown vase standing 12cm tall.

    The line in the vase is not a crack. IMG_1896.jpeg IMG_1897.jpeg IMG_1898.jpeg IMG_1899.jpeg IMG_1901.jpeg IMG_1902.jpeg

Can anyone help with an identification please?

I've always associated that teal blue with Méxican glass.

Can you get that bowl against a plain white background please? It’s trying to be Whitefriars but I don’t think it is. Might be Czech.

Big soda glass vase is possibly recycled . It might be Biot but I’m not sure it’s quite fine enough.

Debora, that teal or kingfisher colour is very common in British, Maltese and Czech glass, as well as some French.
