    It was thoroughly entertaining, Aqui! I actually started to see a hand holding a dove, albeit, with cauliflower fingers. lol.

    JMHO.
    looks French cold painted white metal (régule) with ivorine head and hands . sometimes wrongly called chryselephantine. the figure is a Pierrette - a female Pierrot. also known as Harlequin.
    hard to give an age because these adapted Comedia dell'arte figures are around since the 17th c. all over Europe in Circuses, Opéra comique et al..
    from the making I'd say around 1900 to 1920s.
