I swear, I can't resist a paperweight no matter how bizarre, if it is signed. I couldn't find this Henry Yitra, so I'm hoping someone recognizes his work. The glass part is irregularly shaped, but highly polished, and is 4 inches tall at its tallest point. The central piece is reminiscent of an ocean creature in my mind. It is signed and was created in 1995. Anybody recognize this artist?

The designs definitely look like sea anemones to me.

(Side note: Bandon, Oregon: small, remote, and really beautiful!)

I agree. Now that I see the themes of these. Too bad the studio didn't thrive. My weight is highly polished and has an unusual liquid shape. The center piece is well done and nuanced.
I'm passing through Oregon next summer on my way to Olympic National Park for 9 weeks of camping. I'll see if I can visit Bandon. Thanks for the idea.

No control either. My house is going to sink under the weight.
