Thanks for all your support. I have no idea how I will "catsup". I am setting here right now with the front door lights. ½ set of lights are out of 100 hundred light strand. There are 4 sets of 100 lights on each side. Of course the lights are all intermingled from top to bottom so I can not replace just the one strand without removing all the dang lights. I have stopped and counted to a hundred four times already and I swear I am about to toss them all and just quit!!!!!!

See, Mexicans just put lights up and leave them up all year. Much easier. And festive! Caucasian neighbors don't always appreciate 'em, though. That's why we like to have our own barrios (neighborhoods).

Yes, I was asking about the type of bulbs on Greg's light strings. Some have a fuse incorporated into the plug and that might be the source of his issue.

 

Indeed. Seems I've talked to a number of folks who have no clue on that....
I wonder what they think those tiny fuses are for in the little bag they rip off the light cord and throw away....

Exactly. I've only needed to change the fuses a couple times, but it does work.
