I was shivering so much they could not get a blood pressure cuff on me to work. They were getting started in intubating me when we reached the hospital. 10 mins later I was warming up and could talk. I had a temp of 103. As they were questioning me and taking blood I was drifting by, answered all of their questions that I could understand. Warmed up and being cohesive I was staring at them. My white blood cell count was 33!! I had an infection but where? The only other time like this was when I had a cellulitis infection. Another hour passed and I felt fine just physically drained. They kept me over the weekend and I came home this afternoon. NOTHING came back positive except my fever and blood work. That all came back down to normal levels.
