Hutch-Antique or junk

    Hutch.jpg This hutch has seen it's better days. It's missing some moulding, but I loved the look of it. Does anyone know when this might have been made? I wasn't able to find any identifying marks on it.

    Agree with INH. The veneer is beautiful. Not junk, but not worth much due to the depression in the brown furniture market.

    You can make it look nicer by taking the molding off to match the other side.

    This area will take some thought. Maybe just a small section to match the other side. Or just leave the top and bottom molding.

    There is a product called Restor-A-Finish. That would help cover marks and even the color out. Then use their bees wax product.

    I am on board with a 20s date for this. Undoubtedly American in origin.
