I’ve found out how to link pictures! Not text though, maybe in time.
This model has similar eyes and maybe it will help, there’s an oval mark on it on another picture I can’t read, I’ll see if I can show that. It’s on an eBay page £19.49 as a Tea Pet, Yixing dragon. 323729F3-34F5-4EED-973C-288041716199.jpeg

When you have the ad open, go above, highlight and copy all the words, then go to Antiquers and paste it here.
If you just put your finger on the words, you should get a drop down for Copy.

Thanks, INH I will try that. It’s an iPad, I know how to copy a web picture now and it appears in my photos but I don’t know where the text will go when copied before it’s pasted, if you see what I mean. I can’t even get emojis to appear in any text, they just don’t happen. Should be interesting trying it out anyway.

    Maybe this @Houseful
Copy text and objects to another document or app
You can copy selections of text and most objects, then paste them into other applications.

    1. Select the text or object you want to copy.

    2. Tap Copy (you may have to tap the selection again to see Copy).

    3. Press the Home button, then open the application and file (for example, a document, a message, or a note) where you want to paste it.

    4. Tap where you want to paste the selection, then tap Paste.

Ok, komo, just hand me the dragon.:D
Absolutely, a Bixi or Pixiu dragon, and much too cute.
This is the male Pixiu called Tiānlù. A Tiānlù protects riches, which is why he has put all his weight on the coin. He looks ready to play, but will guard that coin for you. Preferably in the 'wealth corner' of your house, facing a door so he can see any blackguard who wants to steal your money (or NW art) and take the appropriate action.;)
I thought those two black beads were enough.:wideyed:
I don't know when they started to add those 'beady' eyes to Yixing beasties, but it could be a way of dating him. It is a great idea, it works for them. I have a Yixing Tiānlù snuff bottle (of course:happy:) with beady eyes and a few coloured beads scattered over his body.

I can't find the mark, but like all Chinese ceramics, Yixing marks aren't always what they seem. It is a fun piece, and probably not much age. But I'd love to add it to my Pixiu collection, no matter who made it, or when.

I knew he was handmade but did even see the mark till recently.

Just a tiny bit. I'm not superstitious, but.... Ok, I have an army of Tiānlùs watching the door and giving any visitors an embarassingly nasty stare.:watching::D
A lot of Feng Shui is just plain common sense, btw. Not sure my combattive Pixius are, but I love them.
I hope he does a good job for you. Wealth slipping thru your fingers is not good, I hope your sale brings you what you hope for.:)

Wonderful! More protective beasties with an embarassingly nasty stare.:D So you definitely know your foos from your Pixius.
Would you like to show us some or are they a carefully guarded secret?;)
