One item is a 1915 booklet put out by the Committee for a State Police called "Why New York Needs a State Police". The booklet uses the State of Pennsylvania, which had a State Police Force, to show examples of how a state force could be used in NY State.:

The other is a program and the marching order for the Public Safety Parade on May 11, 1925. The parade was part of an broader campaign to end the war between automobiles and pedestrians that was killing thousands of pedestrians a year in NYC by this time. Basically, the Bureau of Public Safety was trying to teach and enforce the few new traffic laws to drivers, and teach the general public that they didn't own the streets anymore, and to pay attention or die. Schools were closed for the day in the city so all the children could come and learn the lesson. There were more than 70 floats in this parade:

I'm not sure how to market these.
