I have been looking for a place like this

    Hi, I've been married to my husband 34 years and we have been collecting together through the years. I say collecting but really he is a "collector" of anything but me, I tend to stick to things I love. With that being said, We both absolutely love looking at something that tells you it has seen another time and place. A lamp shade from 50 years ago that still holds its beauty. It really doesn't matter an antique is a piece of time that is surviving. I love glass and have pieces from different times and places. I'm thrilled to be asked about it and given the chance to tell what I know about each one.
    We have things we know nothing about, I've gotten good at tracking things down but occasionally I'm stumped. We very, very seldom sell anything. That isn't why we collect. If we come to own something we aren't in love with we will.
    I'm thrilled to join a forum like this. A place to see things, show things, talk to people, and ask questions.
