I found this at a thrift store today. No marks on it except Made in France embossed on the bottom. Any idea as to the age or maker would be most helpful. Thanks!

Don't know if there's any chance of it being Lalique - but it has the style of a Lalique nymph bowl. You can search opalescent lalique nymph bowl and see examples. I'm not qualified to say whether it actually is Lalique or how to tell for sure. I think more likely it's done in the style of Lalique and is a modern copy. Do you see any mold seams anywhere on the bowl? As Komo said, more detailed pics from more angles will be helpful to the people who know.

It's similar to lalique's "ondine" but the gold rim and textured surface don't spell out lalique original... @clutteredcloset49

Really should post side and bottom views at the very least.

I can see why you bought it :)

Yes, that is what the link I posted goes to. I corrected my post and took out the wrong description.

It does have made in France embossed on it which is even more puzzling.

    According to here:

    https://www.realorrepro.com/article/Lalique:

"Made in France" is a sure sign that is a fake/copy. No authentic Lalique pieces were marked "made in france".

I wondered about Sabino, but 1) it's larger than the Sabino I'm familiar with and 2) couldn't remember the name (Sabino)

I found a comp on ebay - no id and no gilt metalwork. I

Could it be a Frankenstein in which the metal part was added from another piece?
