I'd love to find out more about this chair

    What a pretty thing! Without seeing things like joinery,etc,Im going to guess 1900-1920 french style.

    Like Johnny said, it's hard to evaluate without more photos. I might go a few decades older than 1920.

    The upholstery appears to be needlepoint.

    Family lore says that my great-great-aunt brought some china around the horn from France on a ship for my great-grandmother as a wedding gift. I'm wondering if she also brought this chair...

    @MarianneB The detail photos you posted recently are not visible to others because they are set to Private. When you change them to Public we'll all be able to see them.

    Think chair's era makes it a a little late for it to have gone "round the Horn."

    I wish I could figure out how to do that.... I feel like I've clicked on every link on the page that I can find and I can't seem to find the place where I can change those settings...

    You need to be on the image file to see where the Private setting is. It's in one of the corners of the picture.
