I was wondering if anyone could help me identify this pottery pitcher? Also possible age? Any info would be great thanks!

Is this by chance a name?
If so try a little baking soda or baby poder rubbed into the letters and lightly dusted off to see if any letters stand out.

My mother had something similar in her collection. I can't remember who or where though, sorry.
