Identify the artist? Berlin?

Is it painted in Berlin or by someone name Berlin. Frame looks US made style 1960-1970?

 

I was told works signed in red marker - along with stapled canvas - is typically street art or mass produced with generic signature.

 

Just putting a thought out there. But I think the person in the picture has a striking resemblance to Brigid Berlin,friend and associate of Andy Warhol. Born in 1939 so if painted in 60s to 70s she would be in her 20s age wise,so that might fit.She was very much involved with the art set at that time.Maybe one of them may have painted her?

Yep. We've had their stuff before here but couldn't find the thread. This one 1970s into 1980s I'd think from the dusty pink liner.
