Identifying Brass Buttons

    We are trying to find out more about these Brass Buttons, on the front is a flag with an “X” and in the flag “U” at the top, “S” on either side, and “Co with a dot under the o” on the bottom. As shown in the pictures. The back says Gaunt London.

    and 1 single button is different, it has “U” in the top of the flag, “S” in the left side and “L” in the right side of it. There is also a lot more on the back but it’s hard to make out.

    I’ve also included 2 white buttons most likely cuff link that were with the lot.
    Any info is appreciated!
