Would anyone be able to help me identify which RN ship this crest/motto belongs to?

There is just a fragment with the embossed crest/motto and appears to have been torn from a card. I thought the three letters "ham" on the left might give me a clue but having tried all the ships I could find ending with those letters I have drawn a blank (HMS Birmingham, Nottingham etc).

The motto is "Fortis in Arduis" & the flag shows that the ship was under overall command of a vice-admiral, I think.

Having trawled the Internet I have been unable to come up with anything - I must have looked at just about every ship that ever sailed & have picked up a fair bit of Latin along the way! 20210724_145350.jpg 20210724_145410.jpg 20210724_145442.jpg

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Maybe you shouldn't be looking for the name of the ship. The arms might be those of the vice-admiral.

Thanks for your suggestions, but not Barham - she had a French motto - "Tout bien ou rien".
