Yes definitely Tourist ware. Available at the Kashmir emporiums where all tourist are taken to on their tour around the city.
Also those hinges show not of greatest quality. If it were a non mass produced piece, hinges would be of better quality IMO.
Also if you see the slots where you insert the table stands, again made for easy shipping and travel to pack into your suitcase.

As to how old, i am thinking this is fairly recent, the hinges not being SS, and gathering rust at this slow pace means not very old piece. of course this is my assumption.

yeah, i'll think i'll make my own assumptions ;) with age in future.(not being funny either)

saying fairly recent doesn't mean anything without a date to back it up

don't think you'd get genuine rust on something fairly recent either (unless they used old hinges)

my thoughts on age haven't changed though really

not able to call it antique, but vintage in spades

    just was hoping how vintage

but can assume they've been M:woot:SS Pr:woot:duced for a good while

Ha ha,whatever.. The other one was ‘better’ definitely more unique, looked older and of better quality. But it’s all good either way. To the next hunt :)
