Info Pls: Blue-White dish

    I'm going to start learning some of this on my own, I swear lol. But until then I'll forgo an attempt at making a guess. Any and all info on this is appreciated.

    This is basically the only image I have of this one, I can add it to my list of things to investigate further if more pictures are needed. As always thank you.

    It's a little big to be a pickle/relish dish I think but you might look in that direction.

    It's a pattern known as Chinoiserie Ruins. It's always fairly important to see the base of pottery and glass to help with identification but here is some info that might help determine the maker of yours.

    Forgot to say the info is from Coysh & Henrywood, Dictionary of Blue and White Printed Pottery 1780-1880.:)

    Yes I have both. The above info was from volume I (and I paid a lot more than that for them;))

    Is volume two a repeat or different info added?

    They say volume 2 is 1,000 new and extended info on patterns so mostly different. Volume 1 is the larger of the two volumes.
