Featured INFO: Small Glass, Leaf Shaped, Ashtray

Any information on this glass ashtray? 4" long, and I've never seen the mark on the bottom before. "MADE IN U.S.A." is also on the bottom.
I'm hoping this isn't a newer piece from "The Dollar Store"

It looks to have some opalescence in it? If you hold it up to the sunlight, can you see some "gold-pink" color through the glass on the edge?

 

Oh yeah, actually it is like an iridescent reddish orange along the edges.

 

I have the same one. Good work with the photos. It is hard to get the flying crow that is on the back.

 

@Rayo56 - You can easily photograph the edge "shine" - it looks good in pictures.
Take it out into the sunlight, hold it up with one hand and shoot!

I find it's a good scale reference to have a hand in the picture too!

 

I wish I could - Sun don't shine much during the winter time in Ohio!

 

If you want to do scale, I put a penny next to an item. I sell only to USA so it gives those folks a size idea.
I wish mine looked that good when I tried to take a photo.I would say your pics are very well done for such a teeny item with an even teenier mark.

 

For the close up I have a small microscope that takes pictures that are sent right to the computer picture program.
