This was a "just for fun" gift given to me, as a certain family member tends to think my many polar bears are a little frumpy (her opinion, not mine.) Anyway, I think it's kind of cute, makes me smile, and definitely different from my more "classic" bears. Pretty certain, although not positive, it was an ebay purchase, as the timing of receipt matches the timeline of the sale. I wasn't "snooping", just trying to see if the seller mentioned of owner of these initials. Can you tell me what letters you see? I have googled every combo I can think of and don't come up with anything. If it indeed came from ebay, the seller indicates VJ as the initials. Simply would like know the talented individual's name if I can. Thank you, and for those celebrating the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, have fun, remember those brave men and women, and stay safe!

I've met a lot of pottery artists at shows here in town. Many of them use Etsy to sell when they're not traveling. They all seem to prefer the shows to sell their wares. One artist I looked for on Etsy for a year and she had a store with no inventory. I finally caught up with her at the Winter Fair show and she said she just didn't have time to manage her Etsy store due to shows and special commissions. So they're probably still in business, just not on Etsy right now.

I hope that Winter Fair is not canceled this year (happens in December), but almost everything else has been. Red, White & Boom (4th fireworks) is canceled, the Ohio State Fair cancelled, the Memorial Tournament (moved to July, but not likely going to happen). Everything fun has been put on hold for now.
