(Click pictures to enlarge) So I thought I would start my next post here with some cameos and intaglios! The first ring is a white 10k gold cameo. I saved this ring from being scrapped. They thought it was gold filled, paid $5. The cameo is damaged unfortunately. Made be Ostby Barton. The stone is carnelian? Next, I think it was made in the early 1940s but I am unsure on that, help? It's interesting because it looks art deco but seems later... I am stumped on how to tell.

For this ring I am fairly confident this is the 1950s. Sterling 10k top. Who made these rings??

Finally is one of my top rings made by Ostby Barton. Saved from scrapping. I haven't seen one similar. The intaglio in sterling with black enamel? Now it has begun to chip a little bit. Is there anything I can do to protect it? I don't dare get water near it in fear of it getting under in and ruining it further. Again I am thinking 1940s?

Feel free to chime in about anything I really appreciate the expertise here! I should also note most of all my rings are scrap saves. It's amazing what some people are willing to melt down.
