I thought glass to begin with but now I&#039;m not so sure as look a bit like stone?. Seems a mish-mash of gems. The gold leaf bit seems to be layered on top.</p><p>It is filthy and needs a good clean in order to even attempt to study the hallmarks.</p><p>Any tips on cleaning something like this- do you think it&#039;s ok to give it a gentle scrub with dish washing soap and a toothbrush?.
