I once had a large collection of 18th century tea and coffee pots as I worked in the hot beverage industry and it was a connection. I sold the collection and then collected Japanese Satsuma (my collection featured on Antiques Roadshow when they visited Clitheroe&nbsp; - it may still be available to download) buying mainly on eBay.</p><p><br /></p><p>When we downsized on retirement I sold the Satsuma And now just have a few pieces of varying ceramics and modern paintings. </p><p><br /></p><p>I do some buying and selling on eBay under the name Kinkozanfan and wrote a novel “Mr Prendergast’s Fantastic Find” about a man who finds some priceless vases on eBay. It’s a comedy and has been very well reviewed.</p><p><br /></p><p>Antiques and writing apart I also enjoy reading, cycling, metal detecting, cinema, theatre and the arts. I attempt the Times crossword daily with mixed success. I am a lifelong supporter of Liverpool&nbsp; FC and had a season ticket for much of my life. </p><p><br /></p><p>During the lockdown I’ve enrolled in the iPhone Photography Academy and am really enjoying learning to get the best from the iPhone camera.</p><p><br /></p><p>Hope that’s an adequate intro.</p><p><br /></p><p>I look forward to reading posts on ceramics.</p><p><br /></p><p>John[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
