Introduction

We have inherited a few pieces that we’d like some information on to see if they are genuine pieces. I came across this forum but I’m not sure how to ask advice.

1. First, choose a forum that best fits the type of item you have a question about: https://www.antiquers.com/forums/#antique-forums.7
2. Then choose the Post New Thread button at the top of the page.
3. Type your question into the box giving as much information about the item as possible, including where you are in the world (this is an international forum), dimensions, etc.
4. Then you need to upload photos of your item. Please use enough images to show the item in its entirety. There is a button at the bottom of the New Thread dialog box that says Upload a File. Click that (after you've completed step 5)
5. By far, the most challenging aspect of posting images for new users is getting the file size under 1 MB. Most phone cameras take photos that are much larger. Follow these instructions:

Try emailing them to yourself as "medium" size to get them under 1 mb.
