Hi I’m Moneque Smith and am a MCM enthusiast. I’m rather novice in furniture restoration but have taken a great interest in restoring beautiful furniture as a hobbyist. My mother was an avid fan of beautiful furniture and art. I’m in the Midwest.

Since you mentioned your mother, I should tell you, my mother always encouraged me to refinish my own furniture! She used those early "furniture refinishing / antiquing" product kits to experiment on our own furniture pieces during the 1960s and early 70s. I'm pretty sure this had a positive influence on my future furniture endeavors!

Thank you! I will definitely post. I’ve been using 3rd parties for restoration but they have become quite booked and expensive! I’m researching kits and have picked my first two projects to do by myself. Excited!
