Featured Iridescent Blue Glass Vase; Pinch-Square, Round Rim

6" tall, ~2 1/2" square, 2 7/8" rim; weight ~7 5/8 oz.
It shows a 'muddy' pontil; the rim is ground an' chamfered inside & out.
The iridescence is much muted in these pics, but reminiscent of some Loetz or Tiffany art glass from the turn of the 20th C.
I have no clue whether it's contemporary, or has good age. UV turns it near black, with some remnant translucence...the iridescence cannot be seen there.
I'm in sincere hope that it's old, an' real good...but the realist in me is urging muted expectations. Thanks for lookin'!

I think it's new-ish, but that's a 4th grade-educated guess.

 

The shape makes me think newish,and the color makes me think American made. But I could be wrong on both counts.

 

whenever I see pinched sides, I think Czech/Austrian/Bohemian although I know Tiffany did some as well. I couldn't really see wear on the base however.

 

Here's a similar example on Ebay - they are calling it Aurene (Steuben) but I don't think that's right. I get more of a Poschinger vibe - but haven't found a match for it from a quick google search.
