I think I just screwed it up the main photo. But I cut out and enlarged the signature.

Don't know. Bought a number from an online auction in Pennsylvania but the owner could have moved there, don't know.

Debora, sorry, I do not have it in my possession yet. Since I bought too many I was trying to get as much research out of the way now, as I have to take care of an invalid and also an 8 year old shortly after I receive them for 14 days. It may be a month before I get them.

Not a problem. I suspect yours is the work of a local artist. And that burlap matting was popular in the 1960s/1970s.

The reason I was asking is I found an artist named Dalton Shourds King. I found one example of a watercolor by that artist, it was similar in style.

Thanks. The signature is quite different though, although I do not they can change them sometimes. As you can tell, I don't even rank as high as remedial in art, but wasn't there either a period or region where or when this "style", whatever this style is was prevalent. I guessed local as I do not find treasure, not for lack of trying.

Thank you for that about burlap being 60-70's.
