Is the red boy old or modern? help me learn!

    Hello,

    I bought this today for a whopping 50 cents :greedy:. I think he looks like he has some age to him but I would love you to help me learn! I have tried to research him but ultimately I can't tell if he is fake old or not. Thanks all.

    Back in the 70's you used to be able to buy plaster moulding kits. They came with latex moulds, the plaster mix and pots of enamel paints, you would mix the plaster, cast then paint. This looks rather like one of those to me, it would be someones homemade piece if so.

    Ah yes, the 70s plaster kits! I'll know better next time. He was in such rough shape I wasn't sure. Pottery and ceramics clearly allude me :confused:

    Brings back memories doesn't it, I remember one Christmas having to paint a whole nativity scene of them. At least it was a very cheap lesson, I'd be very pleased if that's what my learning experiences cost!
