Hi everyone,

I was looking through the threads and @KSW I saw your recent one where you showed a Louis Rousselet necklace and the flat beads reminded me of a necklace I got in a job lot, so I decided to google the name as I didn't know it. Now while I don't think my incomplete necklace, which is too short for an adult and has beads missing, is by him from the search, it did get me wondering about a brooch I recently picked up with 5 others in a bag at an antique centre.

The brooch has unusually shaped faux pearls and when I did the search I was seeing what seemed similar styles coming up. The pearls are wired on to a filigree back which says made in France and it has a trombone clasp. I did some googling and even found one attributed to him on Worthpoint with the same back, although I don't have an account there so can't look it up. LOUIS ROUSSELET FRENCH PEARL BROOCH~MADE IN FRANCE~2 | #110532159 (worthpoint.com)

Anyway, before I get too excited I thought I would share it here for thoughts and opinions. Also included are the other brooches in the bag, and any thoughts on what to call the Czech brooch and the red one would be welcome, as I am not sure what that style is called. I will put a pic of the necklace which inspired all this too just for fun!

TIA everyone
