Brand new to this nice forum!
I was told that this is a Piano Baby. She is approx 3"x3" and has a stamped blue mark on the bottom that I can not make out.
    Appreciate any help :)

Welcome to the Forum, Pattique! :)
I think @judy might have an idea. Or someone else may recognize the mark.

    Welcome Pattique!

The form is right for a piano baby, but the 3" x 3" size, plus the fact that it's hollow, would pretty well eliminate it as a piano baby. Sorry, I can't help with the mark

Everything I read pretty much said the smallest starts out at 6" so thanks for that confirmation. The person I got her from told me Piano Baby (I was unfamiliar, took their word and looked it up after purchase (lesson learned!!).
    Appreciate your reply :)

She is clearly inspired by the original 'piano babies', which were not only decorative, they helped weigh down a piano shawl to keep it from sliding off, so needed some size in order to have adequate weight. As far as I know, all of them were hollow.

There is quite a lot about piano babies in a thread from not too long ago:

The ones most desired by collectors are German. Many later ones are from Japan; the small size & dramatic eyebrows make me think yours is one of these.

Can you make out any letters in the mark?

    My first impression was Japanese.

    Hi Pattique! Welcome to Antiquers!

I agree with Sandra and Cluttered.....most likely Japanese.

I'm going to change my opinion on the OPs.
    Might be a Chinese copy.

I'm looking at the way the base is done. Blurred mark. Leg area filled in. Hands sitting up. The fact that the OP's is bisque rather than glazed.

Agree. More like a copy of a copy.
