    Hi,

I was asking for help and having trouble loading pics so I am asking here Just saying in case you saw this elsewhere I cannot figure out why I am having so much trouble on the other site

I am thinking this might be a period piece and not a repro but I need expert eyes to look and see if maybe I am missing something I was thinking Art Nouveau, early 1900's and possibly Czech?? It slightly magnetizes but I do not think it is gold Looks like brass

    Thank you for your opinions

It looks like cobbled together pieces, mostly 1970s.

I think it's a frankennecklace too but.... The clasp definitely isn't original. The wires the beads are attached to are corroded with age, but the chains look newer.

Aww, I thought maybe mixed metals made it look that way. I have so much to learn. Ty!!

Pretty components, but they don't look happy together. So yes, as evelyb put it so eloquently, a Frankennecklace. Love that word, have to remember it.:writer:
A Bohemian or Czech maker wouldn't do this to the ends of a chain:inpain: :

It looks like someone cut the chain and didn't bother removing the cut bits. No Czech maker would do that, or Japanese or American for that matter. A homebrew crafter might.
