Featured Is this a true Cloisonné?

    Appears to be enamel on metal (possibly copper?) on a wood stand. Approx 8” wingspan and 5.5” tall plus the wood stand.

    With the broad expanses of metal, I'd suggest that, if it's not just surface enamel, "champ levee" is a more likely term.

    It looks like cloisonné to me, I see thin wires in between the colours.
    Chinese.

    I have never seen a cloisonne animal before ! How is that possible ?!?

    I guess if you can put cloisonné on a very round bowl, you can put it on an animal shape.
