Is this African and old? Recognize the area it is from? Wood Mask

i am thinking the nails look old but the mask does not look as old as the nails Do you recognize where this might be from? Not sure if it is African Almost has a Polynesian or tiki vibe to him It is wood but not as heavy as you would think it would be for the thickness Any help is appreciated

 

All I can say, is it's not a mask (no eye holes), and not from any culture I'm familiar with. Not African, not Polynesian, but it might be someone's fantasy item, made for sale as a decorative item or tourist piece.
