Is this an original work?

It looks a lot like a print or perhaps a pastel as the surface is very flat. It's on a artist's board that makes it seem like an original, you can google it, they're still being made.

Contemporary by hair style but certainly someone who knows their Renoir. Have you looked for a signature under frame?

I thought the same things, Renoir style with modern hair and neckline. It is signed in pastel (I believe) but it's not distinct. I'll photograph it later and post it.
