Featured Is this real Marmort porcelain?

    I bought this beautiful vintage porcelain dish with 2 delicate nude women and some of the green mark which I think says Marmort. Since it is wearing off it makes me think it could be fake, if there is fake Marmort. Do you know it? Is it Marmort & real?     The last letter fully visible in the mark looks like a Z not a T.

    It looks like two words, MARMOR and Z(something).
    Marmor is the German word for marble, if that is any help. The crown also looks German to me.

    It is beautiful.

    It also looks like there is an A between the O and the R.

    You are right it is a Z and maybe an ELL
    It is Marmorzellan. Now for the is it real? It is very well made.

    I thought that as well. That changed when I used a jeweler's loupe and saw the additional letters or the shadow of them.
