    Hi everyone,

Hope you are enjoying the New Year!

Does anyone know if this is an antique rug and/or recognize the pattern? No pics of the back presently. Thx.

Does appear to be a hand knotted older rug. Rugs folks will have to chime in on origins.

Yes, looks older. I've also seen that rugs can be 50 years old or older and be considered antique, unlike furniture. Don't know if that's "official" or not.

It's not mine. I'll see if I can get the owner to provide some pics of the back.

Based on the designs, any idea where it came from?

After I responded about 20 minutes ago, I emailed the seller to please send me a pic of the back and she said, "It's not available." When I probed further, she said it sold very quickly. At $20 on Facebook Marketplace, it's not surprising. Oh well!

I would have jumped on it if it weren't a local pickup a decent hike from my location.

Maybe someone will be able to id it even without seeing the back.
