This is another piece that I recently got. Also wondering about placing an age on this. It is 4" wide by 2.5" high. Is my Mamluk Revival guess-timation correct? There are so many key words tied to items like this (Islamic, cairoware, Mamluk, Ottoman, Syrian, ... etc, etc) that I have come across in my searches. No matter what I use, the same sort of things come up. I think this is brass; silver plated? But the wear on the bottom doesn't show any brassy looking metal. Thoughts? And thanks! It does look silver plated.
I can`t help with anything else apart from it being Arabic.
