Isn't it illegal in the UK to sell Ivory?

    Ivory would be "cleaner" than that. That said - most people these days wouldn't recognise ivory if you hit them in the face with it. I've bought plenty of antique ivory, as ivory (or, knowing it was ivory) for a pittance, because the owners had no idea how to ID it.
