Featured italian ? faience ? old? pot/jar

    hi all

    this was one of my bumper late night purchases, they all turned out to be ok purchases i think

    this came in under £6 with postage, and would prob have paid that much for it if i found it in a shop

    cant work out how old it is though, vintage ? or antique ?

    italian faience ?

    measures 5 inches tall

    any thoughts appreciated

    Yes, Italian faience, Northern style I think. Probably early 20th century (pre WW2), nice and a great price too.

    nice putto in Rafael-style.
    five balls on the back may hint towards the Medici crest and Florence.
