    Hi AF,
I love love love your ivory glove stretchers. I must go back and look that other things but those stretchers, keep calling me.

I have a bone one here somewhere, or did. Glove stretcher that is. That little miniature looks seriously goofy; I'd have given it house room too, not to mention a cord to wear it as a pendant. That Indian necklace is awesome; I'm betting some woman walked or walks off wearing it instead of carrying it. There doesn't seem to be any real age on it, that style could fool me, but if it's well made and gaudy it sells.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I've been trying to find out what role Lewis Waller was playing in the miniature. The closest I've come so far was a stage role as D'Artagnan in The Three Musketeers. But, there are significant differences in his headwear... and also he didn't wear an earring in that role. So the search continues. The photo below is from the National Portrait Gallery (U.K.) website.

Got to admit that your stand looks far more interesting than our pile of parcels going to the courier!

Who knows what treasures they contain? Apart from you, of course.

I think 'Fragile' tape is taken as a challenge, though. :-(

Prettiest thing we sent was a Coalport demitasse cup and saucer. Yes, fragile tape does seem like an invitation to drop it or kick it but buyers expect it to be on their fragile parcels.

I think if I am not happy dropping my parcel 6 feet onto concrete, then kicking it across the lawn, it's not packed enough.

    Pretty cup.

Wow this is a great thread. I love seeing all the goodies AF. So much interesting stuff! I have dreamed many times about taking amother trip to Europe with a wad of cash and a shipping container ready to be filled. Ahhh one day. :)
