    Hello friends!
This is my first post and I'm happy to be a new member!
I found these beautiful plates and am having no luck trying to ID them.
I've searched high n low - Replacements, Ebay, Google Images (and I'm a pretty sleuthy researcher!) but no luck.
Does anyone have a clue re: Pattern? Type? to point me in the direction of more info?

    Here's a pic & a description:
    Scalloped edge
    Clear
    They ping like crystal
    Approx 8" in diameter
Approx 1" high including a pedestal base
    Weight: just under 1 lb

    Here's a pic!
Thanks in advance for your help!
    Geekgal :)

I never have any luck searching this site. Others are better at it than me.

    The background is called "Stippled"

    Stippled flower
    Stippled corn flower
    Stippled sun flower
Might be words to start your search.

They are obviously pressed glass. Since they ping like crystal they are probably eastern European, American makers don't use lead glass for pressed wares. I know that's not much but it's more than you had.

When searching on chataboutdg you must put “and” between all search terms as the default is “or”. So searching there you would try “stippled and flower” or “stippled and corn and flower” :)

I also find I have to think about the search terms used. I know “flower and etch” will give different results from “flower and etched”!

Central Glass made a pattern in the 19th century called Mountain Laurel. This looks very much like it...maybe you could try to investigate that?
