Mario, apres? French or Spanish, a fancy word meaning "after" or, bluntly, copy of Pollock's style. Sometimes flat out fake.
I think you meant fractured, not fractalled tree.

I'm not sure if you want to leave it on eBay, or take it off. If you want to take it off for now to do more research just end the listing. Cancel it.

As an unauthenticated work (which Mario does disclose in the text of the listing) with only a flea market "provenance," I personally doubt he'll be in jeopardy of selling it at that price, IMHO. For starters, it's not nearly large enough for Pollock.

Reminds me of the chair by Picasso.

I kinda liked the Picasso chair, but went through that whole thread wondering if it was a set up for someone with my vast knowledge. :wacky:

Wouldn't it be great if the darn thing sold?

I didn't say that I didn't like the chair - just think there's a snowball's chance in hell that Picasso painted it.

...Pollack always makes me try to remember where I keep the calamine lotion...

How about this one as to being too small. Nah, not Pollock but nice. Maybe somebody will recognize the mark on this one.

Sorry, I can't help. But there is an interesting documentary about a possible Pollock found by a truck driver in a thrift store about 10 years ago. She's very fiesty, with language to match.
