    1st guess - Sugar cube basket. 2nd guess - Tidbit tray.

    Candy, sweetmeat, bonbon dish?
    I love the combination with the handle, is it bamboo or made to look like bamboo?

    This stands about 4" tall ( to the top of the handle) 5 1/2" x 3 5/8". The handle is lacquered bamboo I assume. By looking at other photos I would say this is a sugar cube tray. Thanks for all the input everyone!
