Hello all. DISCLAIMER - LOTS OF PHOTOS

Got some Japanese porcelain out of a local charity shop. They had a lot there that was all obviously modern, i picked out the bits i wasnt so sure about.

1: (Pair) 5inch diameter, 4 inch height. Chawan bowl with a poem. Unmarked but they have signs of being quite old.

2: (Pair) bowls. 6 inch diameter. I dont like these, they look wrong but with the mark i thought id take a chance.

3 & 4: small vase 2 inches high, square-ish pot with mark, 1.5 inches high. Dont have much to say about these, but they were cheap enough to learn from.

I didn't study them for long, but the 2 soup bowls at the top appear to have been hand painted.

Hi, the lidded bowls are stencil printed and then over decorated by hand, which makes me think that they date to the Meiji period, maybe around 1900. The bowls with the gold rim are nice and hand painted, I would think late Edo to Meiji period... That little vase might rather be a small cup? It has the "three friends of winter" on it, plum, pine and bamboo... Not sure how old that one is, maybe late 19th c? The square item seems to be the newest as the mark is printed. I cannot help with the maker but it appears to be nicely painted.
