Featured Jewellery stolen from Louvre.

I hate to say it, but the Louvre deserved to be robbed given how easy they made it. The French people didn't deserve those jackelopes at the Louvre and their lackadasical performance.

 

i feel sorry for the poor jools. They do NOT deserve to be smashed up.

 

Yes, I heard that yesterday evening, after I posted. Still strange that no one checked if the ladder should even be there, and if construction workers were hired to work on that part of the Louvre.

These jewels belong to the French people. They don't deserve to be robbed.

 

Somebody messed up, and messed up badly.

 

One commentator I heard pointed out that a red flag should have been that French workmen were working on Sunday. But they seem to have done the whole operation faster than the time it would take for someone to realize something was odd, report it to a supervisor, etc.

 

7 minutes in and out......

 

& they threatened the guards with the big grinders they used to cut the glass ...

 

which , in itself is odd....... did the guard run to mommy ????

 

I mean I was a security guard when I was a kid. I was like 130lbs soaking wet with no training. Mommy is likely exactly where I would have run. That or I’d try to act tough when I wasn’t and have gotten knocked out like the guy in the movie Friday. Then I’d have Chris Tucker taunting me as I lay sleeping and in my head for the rest of my life.

Edit: I worked concerts though. My job was mostly to tell girls who couldn’t see the stage not to stand on rails. There was the night boxing matches happened at a venue I worked. That night I did have to tell some pretty riled up dudes to chill. Everyone thinks they are a tough guy when they are attending fights and drinking a bit.

 

testosterone poisoning plus alcohol = Hold My Beer ... and some poor security guard with only a chair and a whip. If I were a Louvre guard I wouldn't have gotten into the mix either; the odds of a bad outcome (me splattered on the floor and the jewels gone anyway) were far too high.

 

I saw on the news tonight that something was reported about the security cameras that were pointing in the wrong direction.

The Colbert Show figured out why the guards didn’t stop the heist. …..No arms….I’ll see myself out.

The jools however are still on the lam. They're probably headed off to party with Jimmy Hoffa.
