I was wondering if anyone can give me any information on a John Bliss & Co New York compass that has been in my family for years.

I think it is a spirit Compass with a number stamped on the outer face of 856. I am having a really hard time finding anything on anything produced by them especially with a number that low.

I am more looking for insurance purposes.

    Thank you!

    Ouch. :(
It's not in happy shape at all. :(
Based on these views, and unless this is some super rare piece, I don't expect much value.
Even restoration is likely not worth it.
    Wait for more input.

Drag & drop is an option too but you still have to reduce the size as stated below.

Are they the size that info asks for?
Try again by opening edit, changing something, and posting again.
I'm running off now so hope that works or someone else will help you.

I don't know about the compass, but he Ice Box is neat, the blade , AY might have a good idea from the handle, and the arfican mask is nice but likely a for sale art object from the 60's.
I'd suggest starting a new thread for each item seperately to get the best eyes on them.
The mask and blade in TRIBAL...& the box in FURNITURE.......
