Thank you for your offer of help. Of course, I have a few vintage items: an antique wooden suitcase, a women's handbag from 1976, a school bag (Soviet, 1980s), my grandfather's grass scythe (last century), and an all-metal Cold War-era table lamp from 1968. I'll be showcasing them all soon. Can I do this in the Gallery?

The latest joke: Why did Zelensky go to the US for 7 days? Because he's looking for a place to live so he can never return to Ukraine.

I hear there's an unoccupied apartment in Trump Tower.

You can load photos into the Gallery, but really you should start a thread in the appropriate forum to show your items and receive comments. Photos can be embedded into threads from the Gallery, as long as access isn't restricted to private. However, it really works best if you use the Upload a File button & insert them directly into the thread. This site is a bit vintage itself, so photos must be under 1MB.

People rarely look at the Gallery, so if you want information it is best to start a thread for your item. Or your items, if they are of the same sort, for instance Chinese porcelain.

Awesome continuation of the joke. I just told my family. We laughed.

Thank you very much. This is very valuable practical advice. I'll try opening a thread now and uploading one of the items there.

Good luck.:) If you need help, just ask. We have members from different parts of the globe, so there is usually someone here who can help. Otherwise they'll be along in a few hours.

Thanks for the support. You're right. My job involves analytics. But I prefer to take a break from it by doing physical labor. Usually, this means working in my own garden or doing paid, dirty, hard work somewhere. In my opinion, a change of career is the best way to relax.

Thank you! I'm pleasantly surprised by the intense interaction on the forum. There are a lot of real people here. And the conversation can be on a variety of topics. It's awesome.

Thank you. Is that your cat in your profile picture? This cat is so cute. We adore cats. We used to have nine cats. But now there are only five left. Each cat has its own individual character. Cats are like people. They just have a different civilization.

Exactly! I currently have only one cat, who is too scared to be around others and still scared of most people (early trauma). But she has accepted me and is the sweetest little thing, who loves to cuddle.:)

Oh, I understand your story. We also have a cat, "Chipizdron." She's very unusual. For the first two years of her life, she lived in an empty house without human contact or outside walks. Only once a week did someone bring her food. Now she lives with us but is afraid to go outside. She's very unusual. It's as if she doesn't remember us, and every morning she recognizes us anew.In the photo is "Chipizdron." 20260630_101139.jpg

Maybe a memory issue, possibly brain damage? She looks very relaxed and happy though, and that is the main thing.:) Thank you for caring for an animal in need.

Yes, it's possible. The cat was afraid of people. When I tried to catch her to bring her home, Chipizdron bit right through my finger (through the nail). It was very painful.
